The Optical Shop

To get to our Optical Shop, enter the lobby and take the elevator to the first floor. It is located across the hall from our office, and staffed by a licensed optician who is knowledgeable regarding the selection and fitting of frames and lenses.

A wide selection of frame styles is available. All types of current lens materials can be ordered. Lenses that darken in the sunlight can be made out of glass or plastic. Special lenses (high index and aspheric) can be used so that strong prescriptions are not bulky-looking, heavy or thick. Our optician has the expertise to fit modern progressive bifocals (the "line" is not visible), as well as standard bifocals and trifocals. Glasses for special needs, such as computer usage or golf, can be customized. Anti-reflective, anti-scratch, and ultra-violet coatings, as well as tinting, can be ordered or applied on the premises.
